Mike has dedicated most of his life to physical fitness and helping others achieve their goals to live a longer, healthier, and happier life by changing their lifestyle. He began his fitness career 23 years ago, working as a personal trainer and General Manager at Gold’s Gym. Mike later pursued a career in law enforcement where he was member of an elite SWAT team, which required him to maintain a rigorous training schedule for a strong and healthy body.
Mike sees his responsibility as a trainer to increase your motivation. Once you’re motivated, you will learn the benefits of exercising every day. He believes nothing can stop the person who is driven to succeed. His fitness philosophy is “what your mind believes, your body will achieve”.
Trey grew up in a small North Dakota town his entire life and in the fall of 2013 picked up and drove 36 hours across the country to the sunny state of Florida. He has always had a drive for the fitness industry, but with no knowledge about the industry Trey self taught himself everything he knows about fitness from the age of 14. In 2014 he became a certified personal trainer receiving his NASM certificate and beginning his journey with Bodytek. With Trey’s creative background and marketing skills along with his drive for fitness, allowed him to soon take on the role of Creative Director for Bodytek and group personal trainer. In this capacity, Trey works closely with the core management team creating everything Bodytek.
Trey believes that anything is possible in life and the only person that is going to change you is you but with guidance throughout your journey each and every step. Every goal you want to reach can be achieved. You just need to believe you can!
Chris’ journey in fitness began junior year in high school. He was a scrawny 95 lbs and began working out to improve his self image. When he started BTF he was out of shape, overweight and his doctor had just prescribed him medication to reduce his cholesterol. From his first class, Chris was drawn by the energy and motivation of the group atmosphere – it was the first time he’d ever gotten a full body workout, including cardio, in one hour. He was immediately hooked and encouraged by not only his physical and mental transformation, but also by the support and motivation of the trainers and fellow Tekers. Chris took that encouragement and decided to become certified as a trainer. He is dedicated to relating his first hand experience of transformation to each and every client, to help them be healthier and happier. With fitness and all other aspects of his life, Chris’ philosophy is “don’t limit your challenges, challenge your limits”.
Analys discovered her passion for fitness at a very young age & loves passing on her knowledge. She grew up with a go-get it attitude playing almost every sport in school such as soccer, volleyball, kickball and baseball; becoming a role model leader to those around her. Analy’s keen eye for detail in every single one of the movements performed is a main focus for her during her workouts to maintain the athletes perfect form and safety. Nothing gives her a rush like seeing her athletes achieve their goals and what they once thought impossible! She has a big heart and likes to connect with everyone on a personal level to help them conquer their fears and believe in themselves. She’s also on a mission to keep everyone in the room inspired.
Well-known for his strong relationships, service and performance excellence, Dean Fanning has put client needs and expectations foremost for well over a year. Dean has a wealth of knowledge and expertise as a result of over 20 years in the fitness industry and well-earned certifications, making him an invaluable asset to the Bodytek team. Starting at the age of 18 he knew encouraging others to be the “best you” was his true calling in his career. Training others is his passion and showing them that being healthy is mandatory and “the way of life” for everyone. With Dean’s “Let’s get it” attitude he always incorporates a different workout each time so you can get the best results in return.
Fitness became a part of Maribel’s life as a child working out to Jane Fonda videos and Denise Austin workouts on ESPN. With a strong passion for music, Maribel went on to college to study music and graduated with a B.A. in Arts (Concentration in Music). Maribel worked as a professional singer for 15 years until she encountered some health issues that got in the way of her singing career. Given that fitness had always been a part of her life, in 2012 she transitioned careers into the fitness field. She became a Mad Dogg Athletics Spinning Instructor, NCCPT Certified Personal Trainer and Water Aerobics Instructor. In the past 5 years Maribel has worked for many high end fitness clubs. She came across Bodytek Fitness and when she took her first class, she fell in love with their drive, positive reinforcement, motivation, great energy and overall amazing, effective workouts. She auditioned and she’s now a trainer to in her words “the best team in South Florida”.
Maribel enjoys motivating her clients and is super excited about helping them reach their health goals. She loves Bodytek’s ego free zone and loves to see the client’s dedication and progress through their consistency. She’s more than happy to be their motivation. Maribel’s philosophy is that there are healing properties through music and exercise. Her favorite line is “strong mind, strong body”.
Ty’s passion for helping others reach their ultimate fitness goals has been her driving force for over 15+ years. Ty energy is what truly gets her clients heart pumping and goals achieved. As a group instructor as Bodytek Fitness ty believes anything is possible with the right amount of energy focus and belief that you can do it. She specializes in functional training with Bodytek’s formats during her group fitness classes that ultimately allows her clients to see such great great results
Shaddi graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a B.S. and with over 10 years in the health and fitness industry. Shaddi comes from an athletic background where he ran track and field at a collegiate division 1 level. He has been dedicated to helping clients reach their goals as well as realize their potential though continuing education. He specializes in TRX, weight loss, strength training, HIIT, core strengthening, and improving flexibility. Each of his classes brings a new dynamic and is designed to optimize fat burning while building lean tone muscle. Three tips he recommends to anyone starting out are: 1: Set realistic short term and long term goals, documenting progress with photos helps keep you on track. 2: Create a plan and follow through with it. 3: Staying consistent over time yields results.
Tyrone’s love for Fitness and high intensity interval training programs and atmosphere pushed him to become a fitness instructor.Most of Tyrone’s life has been surrounded by sports and fitness training. At a young age he was captain of his schools swimming team and has qualified and competed in several triathlons (Sprint and Olympic) over the past ten years.
As a certified group fitness instructor with an AS Degree in Culinary & Business Management (Concentration in Science and Nutrition) Tyrone believes that all people are capable of changing their lives through exercise and believes that, “Fitness is a catalyst for change, and affects every aspect of your life”
